Picking up Wood in Minnesota

I have been a wood carver since 1989, and enjoy carving with high quality wood.

Our basswood is premium northern Minnesota basswood. It comes from about 80 miles south of Canada; so it's very high quality.

The cottonwood bark is from northern Montana. I think it's the best carving bark around.

We go to carving shows across the United States to sell wood.
Schwartz Wood Sales carries bark boards, bark rounds, plates of various sizes, basswood, bases, butternut and basswood boards from 1/8" thick up to 6 inches thick. We also do glue up. See our chart for prices.

We will do custom orders. Our home shop is in Alliance, Nebraska where we store and cut our wood. We are here to provide the wood and the information you need for your projects.
